Contest Terms and Conditions
Greenpeace International reserves the right to change the dates and/or terms of this contest without notice. Material changes will be posted at the Greenpeace International website http://www.greenpeace.org/international.
This contest is open to all registered with the exception of Greenpeace employees and their immediate families. The contest will close on December 5th.
The content consists of submitting a slogan as candidate for the text of a banner which will be displayed prominently at the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December 2009.
Registration is free. One can submit as many different slogans as one likes.
Submission of candidate slogans take place through the action-pact.org site. Greenpeace International, at its sole discretion, may award prizes to entries received by alternate means.
The prize is a picture of the winner’s slogan on a banner displayed in Copenhagen. The prize is offered as is; it is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, alternate prizes, or goods and services except at the discretion of Greenpeace International. Each winner will be responsible for any taxes or fees that result from the receipt of their prize.
A panel of Greenpeace staff will determine the winner of the contest. The number of winners – or not having a winner at all – is at the discretion of Greenpeace International. Greenpeace International will publish the winners’ names and the photograph of their banner at http://www.greenpeace.org/international from December 2009.
Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the Contest will be disqualified.
Greenpeace International reserves the right to at its discretion cancel or suspend this contest should any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Greenpeace International impede a proper execution of the contest.
Greenpeace International is not responsible for any technical or other circumstances which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant's ability to participate.
Each participant agrees to assign to Greenpeace all and any intellectual property rights including copyright regarding the slogan; and to indemnify Greenpeace International and its officers, directors, agents, licensees, national and regional offices and employees (the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant's participation in the contest.tcktcktck.org
